The Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM) in cooperation with its partners Belgrade Open school, Institute of Social Science and Humanities Skopje and Analitika Center for Social Research (Sarajevo) has started a project called “Exploring the role of Religion in WB societies - RiS”.

This project relies on analytical and evidence-based contributions generated through a competitive process and through contextual research. These contributions will be presented and further enriched through a regional conference debate with the community of decision makers, religious representatives, academia, civil society and other policy stakeholders from WB countries, the regional cooperation initiatives, as well as European and international stakeholders assisting the WB region’s development processes and integration into Euro-Atlantic community.

The overall goal of RiS project is to enhance societal and policy mechanisms better respond to challenges and employ opportunities for the role of religion in modern societies through better capacities of stakeholders and evidence-based options.

VM-Pro - Self-assessment system for validation of youth mentoring

Although the Strategy Europe 2020 aims to decrease the rate of early educational leaving in the EU to below 10% by 2020, still more than 10% of youngsters (aged 16-24), are leaving the education and training process, according to EUROSTAT data. Early educational dropout is an urgent and serious problem, both for individuals and society as a whole.

In order to address the above mentioned problems, throuout this project we will especially emphasize on mentoring process with youngsters, i.e. creation of tools and instruments for improvement of quality of mentoring processes. Besides creation of tools and instrumenst, we will develop an android based mobile mentoring application to facilitate distance mentoring for youth with disabilities.

Project is coordinated by SIM - SCUOLA ITALIANA DI MENTORING (Italy), in cooperation with ASSOCIAZIONE MOSAICO (Italy), MARIE CURIE ASSOCIATION – MCA (Bulgaria), PHOENIXKM BVBA (Belgium), International Association for Research and Development of Vocational Education and Training (Turkey) and Belgrade open school.

All of the project activities will be realized from the 1st of December 2017 to 30th of November 2019. Project is supported by European Commission, through Erasmus+ Programme in the field of Strategic partnerships for youth.
