During 2025, the Belgrade Open School implemented the project “Local Actors for Clean Energy and Air 2025”, supported by the European Climate Foundation. The activities carried out within this project represent a continuation of activities implemented in previous years.

During the project implementation period, BOS:

• Provided support to activists and CSO representatives in their advocacy initiatives through consultations, trainings, and other forms of assistance;
• Continued expanding the citizen-based air quality monitoring network and analyzing the collected data;
• Participated in the development of relevant laws and by-laws and actively monitored their implementation at both national and local levels;
• Supported energy communities/cooperatives in mapping opportunities and implementing new local renewable energy initiatives;
• Analyzed and proposed support measures for the implementation of citizen energy projects.

The project activities were implemented from December 2024 to December 2025.
