May is the month of closing the project year for the Europe ASAP and Youth and Media programmes. During the 2024/2025 project year, through the Europe ASAP programme we supported 4 investigative media outlets and 10 civil society organisations, while through the Youth and Media programme we supported 8 media outlets and 8 civil society organisations. The supported partners come from more than five different cities and municipalities across Serbia.
To mark the end of the cycle, the Belgrade Open School organised a final training for the partners involved in the projects “Civil Society Advancing Serbia’s Accession Process – Europe ASAP” and “Advancing Media and Youth CSOs for Prosperous Democratic Development of Serbia – MAY4DD.”
Over the course of three days, from May 12th to 14th in Sokobanja, partners had the opportunity to engage in discussions with an artificial intelligence expert, present their projects, evaluate the programmes, and propose ideas for improvement.
On the first day, the focus was on the integration of artificial intelligence tools into everyday work tasks. Partners had the chance to talk with Marko Živković, Head of Marketing and PR at Infostud and an AI enthusiast. The main interests of the participants included how to transcribe efficiently, how to communicate and formulate effective prompts, and how to ensure the desired outcomes. Through joint exercises, participants were able to find answers to specific questions.
The second day was dedicated to project presentations by our partners and to the evaluation of the Europe ASAP and MAY4DD projects. Partners shared their activities, achievements, and challenges, and exchanged experiences and knowledge.
The programmes “Civil Society Advancing Serbia’s Accession Process – Europe ASAP” and “Advancing Media and Youth CSOs for Prosperous Democratic Development of Serbia – MAY4DD” are implemented by the Belgrade Open School with the support of the Kingdom of Sweden.
