Beyond Fossil Fuels is an initiative of civil society organizations from the European Union, the Western Balkans and Turkey to achieve the goals of the Paris Agreement - transform Europe's energy sector into a low-carbon system and abandon coal as an energy source. The initiative aims to eliminate the negative effects of coal on public health, social, economy and the environment.
