Belgrade Open School received a reward in December of 2016, from the Register of the National Internet Domain of Serbia (RNIDS) Foundation, as a sign of gratitude for the dedication and support in the development of RNIDS in the past 10 years. Anniversary awards are given to deserving individuals, organizations and institutions which have, through their work, contributed to the creation and development of internet in Serbia, and the RNIDS Foundation.

Belgrade Open School, as one of the founders of the RNIDS Foundation, has for years, through its activities, worked on promoting and increasing the value of the information society, and was also the first one in Serbia to start using the internet as a tool in education, i.e. started applying e-learning in its programmes.
