Why #unicorn internships?
Even though internships in Serbia are widely spread, our legal framework does not recognize a legal and contractual obligation between an intern and employer. Whereat elements of quality internships contain contractual relationship, mentorship, some kind of financial motivation, a good internship is, like a unicorn, impossible to find.

Fourth Freedoms of the European Union Day in Niš: Where Changes Happen

Basics of Leadership
Great leaders are magnets for talented and valuable people, and they can make a good working result-oriented atmosphere, which is what every company needs in order to be as successful as possible.

Motivation
Research in the field of motivation shows that motivation is connected to achievement and progress, as well as the level of personal satisfaction, so knowing the terms of this field is extremely important.

Mentoring and Employee Development
Mentoring, and personal and professional development is a lifelong process, and the modern notion of mentoring consists of several different methodologies.

Advanced Leadership and Motivation
Leaders are those who initiate organizational changes and inspire employees. In order to empower and motivate their employees, leaders must first show that they themselves are open for suggestions and course changes.

Motivating Others
Various factors affect people’s energy and will to be dedicated to their work, their role in the team, and motivation is something that should be worked on constantly. Motivation is not constant, neither on the personal nor at the level of the team.

Emotional Intelligence
Psychology research findings show that emotional intelligence contributes significantly to the establishment, maintenance and improvement of interpersonal relationships in different social contexts.

Decision Making
Anyone in the company who manages processes and teams, or is responsible for certain aspects of business, makes more or less complex decisions on a daily basis.

Delegation and Empowering
Many managers, even with great organization, cannot accomplish everything necessary in order to achieve the expected result and a possible cause of this is an insufficiently developed skill of delegating jobs.

Running Meetings
In order to make the division of roles clear, assignments specified, and the cooperation productive, the meetings are the first indicator of the way you communicate and achieve the set goals.

Goal Setting
Goal setting is a necessary process which enables the required analysis to be done, in order to monitor the achievements, evaluate your own efficacy, motivation and competence.

Analytical Skills – A Filter for Good Goal Setting
One of the key mechanisms in modern business is goal setting. The skill of setting realistic and fact-based goals, which should at the same time be encouraging, is necessary as a framework for prioritization in activities, employees’ motivation, development of time and process management strategies.
Delegation – The First Step in Mentorship
Manager experience says that no matter how well you manage your time, you cannot manage to do everything you want on your own, and that is not even the purpose of management. Nowadays, the business world is dominated by the notion that the delegation skill is one of the most important skills required to successfully lead a team.

Training for Trainers
Within the process of transition and adopting new work technologies, it is necessary that a staff be formed and educated, and it is highly unlikely that any company can expect growth and development without staff development.

Presentation Skills
Only a handful of people were born with a talent for public speaking, and even the best of them get anxious before a performance. With good preparation and by developing this skill, it is possible to achieve good public speaking.

Prezi – The Most Popular Online Presentation Creation Tool
Prezi is a project made to provide the user with as much freedom as possible when presenting an idea, and thus is very useful for the different purposes of presenting, from educational, up to the business oriented ones.

Time Planning and Organization
Simultaneously carrying out several tasks, setting priorities, organizing your schedule so as to ensure the best possible performance can occasionally produce stress which can be avoided by developing time management skills.

Conflict Management
Resolving conflicts is an inevitable part of the job, and identifying conflict causes and successful management of uncomfortable situations requires active listening and positive communication.

Stress Management
Stress is a factor which contributes most to employee burnout. By recognizing the causes of stress and by using stress management techniques, we can efficiently prevent burnout.

Conflict Management and Resolution Skills
By gaining a deeper understanding of the nature of conflict, as well as the factors affecting it, participants will be able to create a work environment where conflicts are successfully resolved.

Stress Management in a Dynamic Work Environment
By understanding the complexity of continuous exposure to stress in a dynamic work environment, and by using stress management techniques, we prevent that critical level of stress which endangers us and our co-workers.

Project Management
Project planning and management demands familiarizing yourself with all the phases and constituent elements of this cycle. In order to implement the project efficiently and with the expected results, it is necessary to make a project realization plan in advance and make an assessment of available resources.

Time Management from the Perspective of Demanding Positions
Meetings, dealing with crisis situations, monitoring results, incessant activities put before demanding positions don’t leave enough time for taking a look at yourself, your obligations and results, as well as your teams, and all this at the expense of interpersonal relationships.

Communication Skills – Successful Communication
In the time we live in, the best way to manage stress and situations holding back our business advancement is to know how to manage our relationships with other people.

Providing and Receiving Feedback
Valuable feedback, when provided in a correct manner, can positively affect work results. Feedback points out what it is we are not doing well, and what we could be doing better

Effective Listening
Clear and precise information communication affects business results, and that is why an active listener, who carefully pays attention, not only to what is said, but also the way it is said and the aim of the conversation, is crucial for the message not to get lost or misinterpreted.

Communication Skills – Assertive Communication
Assertive communication is the most successful communication style. This communication style is a skill which can be learned, practiced and perfected.

Diplomatic Communication
In the time of increasingly common business at the international level, the need for communication and negotiation is increasing, and knowing the different strategies and techniques of diplomatic negotiation allows for speed and efficacy in handling crisis situations, as does continuity in everyday communication.

Communication Skills – Visualization
When communicating and conveying a message, with the goal of convincing the listeners of the relevance of what is being said, how successfully the message is received and accepted mostly depends on how much we managed to involve the listeners in our story, if they understood us and if we managed to turn the story into clear images in their minds.

Teamwork and Cooperation
The vast majority of contemporary positions require teamwork as a way of completing given assignments. Because of the flow of information, dynamic nature of the work environment, division of responsibilities and achieving results, the teamwork skill is one of the most valuable competencies in the job market.

Teamwork and Team Development
Continuous development of teamwork skills and familiarizing yourself with the strategies for creating team dynamics, i.e. quality team building and its efficient functioning will affect the employees’ productivity and satisfaction.

Ethical Aspects of Business
In an attempt to complete demanding business tasks and realize their personal ambitions, the ethical aspects of individuals’ actions often take the back seat. However, research shows that nurturing an ethical climate in a corporation, increases employees’ morals, improves the brand’s reputation, encourages loyalty with clients and employees, and above all, increases profit in the long term.

Client Orientation
In the modern concept of business, the client is no longer just a customer or client; they are also essentially a partner and co-creator of the product and services. The goal of this training is to clarify the concept and emphasize the importance of client orientation, and to show, on practical examples, the benefits of client oriented business.
