2015-2023

On Monday (February 14, 2022), a lecture was held in the BOS's classroom on the topic "Will machines replace people?".

The lecturer, Marija Novičić, through an interactive and modern presentation, introduced the students to the basic concepts related to artificial intelligence and machine learning.

The first lecture was held within the module "Views towards Europe".


The lecture entitled "European integration between the nation and globalization" was held by Vladimir Petrovic in online format.


Through the use of the Zoom platform, students participated in an active discussion with the lecturer.

On Monday, February 7, a special lecture was held within the Future Studies program.


The lecture was given by the General Director of Coca - Cola HBC, Svetisav Atanasov on the topic "Leadership comes in all shapes and forms".


The lecture was held in a hybrid form, ie live and via the Zoom platform.


The lecture was attended by students of the 2021/2022 generation, members of the alumni community and employees of the Belgrade Open School.

On Wednesday, February 2, 2022, the intensive module on the EU was completed.

A total of four lectures in online format were held within the intensive module. The lectures were given by Pavle Nedic and Aleksandar Ivkovic.

An introductory workshop was held on Friday, January 21, as part of the Alumni2Students mentoring program.


The workshop was held in online format via the Zoom platform. The event was hosted by Jelena Manić Radoičić, and it was attended by all students and most mentors.

  • The Autumn Semester of Future Studies for the 29th generation ended with a psychological workshop held by Verica Gutalj Živković on December 23. In the autumn semester of the academic year 2021/2022, 18 lectures were realized, 9 in the module Future of the State and Society and 9 in the module Skills for the Future,  as well as 6 psychological workshops, 3 special lectures and one book club.

  • 10 students of the XXVIII generation of the Study of the Future started attending the program.
  • The professional team of the Future Studies program held a presentation of the Future Studies to students of Belgrade universities on Thursday, June 11, 2021.
  • 22 students of XXVIII generation of the Future Studies inducted in the BOS Alumni Network, which now accounts for 1313 members.
  • The team of Future Studies program held an online presentation of Future Studies to students of University of Belgrade on Thursday, June 11, 2021.
  • In the spring semester of the academic year 2020/21, two special lectures, one Literary Club, a film evening, two Students2Students lectures, a course on financial modeling, six psychological workshops, and a Design Thinking workshop were held for 28th generation students as extracurricular activities.
  • 22 students improved their knowledge through 27 lectures, 5 in the Intensive Module Europe, 12 in the module Views towards Europe, and 12 in the module Classroom 4.0 during the spring semester of the academic year 2020/2021.
  • 60 students of the University of Belgrade as participants of the Case Study Show project improved their case study skills after five educational workshops
  • 23 students of the XXVIII Generation of the Future Studies began the programme.
  • 22 students of XXVII generation of the Future Studies inducted in the BOS Alumni Network, which now accounts for 1291 members
  • 20 students of Belgrade universities were informed about the educational programme Future Studies during two online presentations within the campaign for enrollment of the XXVIII generation
  • Spring semester for the XXVII Generation was finished with the lecture by Uros Krcadinac on April 27. In the Spring semester 25 lectures were held: three on Intensive module Europe, 12 on the module Looking towards Europe and 10 on the module Classroom 4.0.
  • In the Spring semester of the academic year 2019/20 as extracurricular activities for XXVII Generation five special lectures, two book club sessions, movie night, two Student2Student lectures, financial modelling course, six psychological workshops, and Teamwork Winter School were realized. 
  • 14 students of the XXVII Generation of Future Studies improved their teamwork skills thorugh Teamwork Winter School from March 5 to March 8, 2020.
  • For the XXVII Generation of Future Studies, the Spring semester started wtih the lecture on the Intensive module Europe
  • In the Collection of Essays of the Belgrade Open School 2019, 39 essays were published, of which: 20 Academic papers, 14 Policy papers and 5 Case studies.
  • For the students of the XXVII Generation of the Future Studies extracurricular activities in the Fall semester included 3 special lectures (on the topics of Protestantism and Orthodoxy relations, China and Woodstock music festival), 8 Psychological workshops, visit to the exhibition in the SASA Gallery, movie night, Bookclub, and student debate. 
  • As a part of the Fall semester of the Future Studies, 23 lectures were held, 12 on Skills for the Future module, and 11 on the Future of the State and Society module.
  • 22 students and mentors, of which 12 are new to the Alumni2Studnets mentoring programme, were introduced
  • 18 students of the XXVII Generation of Future Studies participated in the debate organized in partnership wih Partners for Democratic Change Serbia on November 14, 2019.
  • 22 students of the XXVII Generation of the Future Studies began the programme.
  • 22 students of XXVI generation of the Future Studies inducted in the BOS Alumni Network, which now accounts for 1269 members.
  • Students from 27 different educational profiles applied for the Future Studies programme in the academic 2019/20. These profiles include, but are not limited to the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering, Faculty of Dramatic Arts, School of Electrical Engineering, School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of Applied Studies, Faculty of Agriculture and Faculty of Forestry.
  • 17 alumni and students of the Academy for Young Leaders in Civil Society from Sarajevo got acquainted with the work of Belgrade Open School and Future Studies.
  • During the Future Studies presentation on August 26, 2019, 12 students got informed about the programme and possibilities that it offers.
  • During the presentation on the future of jobs and skills delivered by the Future Studies team, knowledge of 15 participants of the KidHub's summer innovation camp improved.
  • Examples of good practice stemming from the Future Studies programme presented to regional actors at International Youth Day.
  • The professional team of the BOS educational programmes held a presentation of the Future Studies programme for the students of the Belgrade Universities at the premises of the Belgrade Open School on Monday , June 10th, 2019.
  • 160 students got informed about the Future Studies programme during the Read@BOS presentation in Studentski grad.
  • Twenty-two students of the XXVI generation of the Future Study programme completed their studies in the academic year 2018/2019
  • Fifteen students of the XXVI generation of the education program Future Studies improved their teamwork skills and strengthened the team spirit at the Winter School of Teamwork on the Gucevo mountain.
  • BOS book club has been held for the students of the 26th generation, as a part of the educational programme "Future studies" in the academic year 2018/2019.
  • Through the ‘’Future Studies’’ educational programme, in the academic year 2018/2019, Alumni2Students workshop has been held for the 22 students of the XXVI generation.
  • Within the framework of the competition "Responsible in the Community" of Vojvodjanska bank, 20 computers were won for the needs of a computer classroom and work with students of the educational programme Future Studies, December 15th, 2018. 
  • Twenty-four students from the XXV generation of the Future Studies Programme were mentored by BOS alumni mentors in the academic year 2017/2018. 
  • The professional team of the BOS educational programmes held a presentation of the Future Studies programme for the students of the Belgrade Universities at the premises of the Belgrade Open School on Thursday, June 14th, 2018.
  • Twenty four students of the XXV generation of the Future Studies program completed their studies of the academic year 2017/2018.
  • Twelve students of the XXV generation of the educational program Future Studies took part in the winter school of teamwork at Fruska Gora mountain, thus improving their team skills, April 2018.
  • Through the ‘’Future Studies’’ educational programme, in the academic year 2016/2017, the knowledge and skills of 26 selected students of the Belgrade University were developed so that they could become carriers of social change.
  • Realization of the "Future Studies" programme in the academic year 2015/2016 and 2016/2017 was supported by eminent experts, lecturers on the program, that are coming from the academic community, but also from the public and business sectors.

  • Through the ‘’Future Studies’’ educational programme, in the academic year 20115/2016, the knowledge and skills of 20 selected students of the Belgrade University were developed so that they could become carriers of social change.

1993-2015.

  • Through the ‘’Future Studies’’ educational programme, from the academic year 2012/2013 to academic year 2014/2015, the knowledge and skills of 98 selected students of the Belgrade University were developed so that they could become carriers of social change.
  • Through the “Multidisciplinary Undergraduate Studies’’ educational programme, from the academic year 2007/2008 to academic year 2011/2012, the knowledge and skills of 145 selected students of the Belgrade University were developed so that they could become carriers of social change.
  • Through the “Main Programme’’ and "EU and the Balkans" educational programmes, from the academic year 2000/2001 to academic year 2006/2007, the knowledge and skills of 490 selected students of the Belgrade University were developed so that they could become carriers of social change.
  • Through the “Main Programme’’ and "Open Programme" educational programmes, from the academic year 1998/1999 to academic year 1999/2000, the knowledge and skills of 175 selected students of the Belgrade University were developed so that they could become carriers of social change.
  • Through the one year academic program, from the academic year 1993/1994 to 1997/1998, the knowledge and skills of 250 students were developed so that they could become carriers of social change.
