People Development

Through People Development, Belgrade Open School puts the focus on the development of the individual and the company. By developing the employees’ competencies, BOS contributes to the development of the company they work at.

In the business environment, the main resource of every organization is made up of people and their capabilities, with which they contribute to the achievement of organizational goals. Their creativity, innovativeness, motivation, awareness, are all qualities which separate them from other resources in the company, and so they represent the most valuable resource in creating additional value in the company and its market positioning.

Continuous technological and market changes constantly set new demands for further development and efficient human resources management, and new knowledge and a continuous investment in people are the foundation of every successful business operation.

By recognizing the importance and indispensable need for people development, Belgrade Open School hopes to, in creating its own trainings and programmes, further empower individuals who occupy different positions in companies, as well as the company itself.

Proven Leaders' Corner

Belgrade Open School recognizes the importance of a continuous investment in already proven leaders, and that is why it has directed a special segment of its activities towards creating and realizing programmes intended for higher and top company management.

Modern global leaders are leaders who strengthen their self-confidence with constant learning, and equal parts personal and professional development. They are very aware of social circumstances and the traces their business leaves on the development of society and local communities. Already formed and proven leaders are aware that only by improving on yourself can you, not only keep up with and anticipate global trends, but be the initiators of change as well.

Through the Proven Leaders’ Corner, Belgrade Open School wishes to work on setting forth new role models for future generations of leaders in the business sector. The programmes are intended for leaders rich in experience and the potential to become modern global leaders. Global in the sense of developing their leadership competencies for corporate management on the wider market, and modern in the sense of developing the competencies needed for creating and increasing market values, with a distinct awareness about the values and changes in society which occur as a side-effect of their business.

Bridging the gap

Belgrade Open School has been providing answers and offering solutions in the process of bridging the gap between the world of education and the labour market for years now. Through its activities and services, BOS works on connecting employers with suitable candidates, examines the needs and affinities of both parties, harmonizes them and creates a bridge from unemployed to effective, motivated employees and satisfied employers.

This area contains numerous designed internship programmes, professional development workshops and various events, such as the Youth2Business and Job Shadowing, and the greatest contributions is made with the one year multidisciplinary programme ‘’Future Studies’’, which has been realized for 24 years now. Through these activities, as well through the continuous work on advocating for the improvement of the legal framework and initiating different solutions for a better linking of young people and the labour market, BOS sees employers in Serbia as indispensable and reliable partners in the process of improving employability.

SMART services

Belgrade Open School provides services which enable clients to have an innovative and qualitative approach to their target groups.

By creating educational platforms and sites, designing and realizing educational programmes and events, CSR projects thematically directed towards education and environmental protection, and all in accordance with the clients' goals, we enable growth, not only our clients' growth, but also their users' growth as well. Users and clients today are also co-creators of the products and services, and so the sustainability and reputation of companies depends on their ability to understand and improve these relationships. By respecting the uniqueness of every company, their vision, corporate culture, the differentiation of products, services and industries they do business in, SMART services generate those demands and communicate the messages our clients wish to send their users. That is how we want to support our clients and co-workers in achieving their goals and making a contribution to a wider community of people.
