Description
Many creative and intelligent people sometimes don’t manage to realize their good ideas. They often can’t cope with leading their teams and don’t manage to find an adequate cooperation modality. This is not because they lack intelligence or technical skills. What people are most often missing is the critical level of emotional intelligence and the ability to manage their emotions as well as the emotions of others, especially when they are under stress – under pressure or in a conflict situation. The programme is based on lectures and interactive workshops on specific business cases. Emotional intelligence may sound a bit abstract, but it is especially useful and has the highest use value precisely for the people who have a highly developed logical intelligence and analytical capabilities. The programme about emotional intelligence has as its goal the improvement of managers’ leadership skills, as well as team cooperation, mastering a set of techniques for managing personal emotions and influencing co-workers’ behavior, especially in difficult and uncomfortable situations.
Outcomes

• How to manage their own emotions and affect others by using practical strategies which will help them behave and communicate in a professional manner when under stress, tension and in complicated situations – they will know how the brain functions and the ways of managing emotions that cause the specific behavior when we are under stress or working under pressure
• How to improve the ability to study situations which cause certain emotions which directly affect decision making
• How to sharpen their leadership skills by better understanding their own behaviours and a realistic self-evaluation, which is a precondition for change, correction and growth
• How to be capable of identifying and differentiating between different behavioural patterns and emotional habits which lead to better results, that is, they throw them off the track by affecting their motivation, as well as members of their team
• How to lead a team, and at the same time be team players, capable of looking at the bigger picture and being more willing to cooperate
• How to make win-win decisions, which go along with their interests, but which are based on the interests of other stakeholders as well
