PolitiKAS: Beginning of Lectures in the Fall Semester for XI Generation

The lectures on the educational programme "PolitiKAS" have started on Tuesday, September 24th 2019. for the XI generation of participants. Welcoming speeches were held by Gordana Pilipovic, Project Manager for Konrad Adenauer Foundation and Milorad Bjeletic, Executive Director of the Belgrade Open School.

The programme started with a lecture by professor Bojan Vranic within Politics I module. During this lecture, participants talked about the concept of political ideologies, while also discussing conservativism and its influence on the political agendas of parties and current events, in the context of local and international political scene. The first lecture within the module Economic and social politics for the XI generation was "Future of Regional Development – Serbia and the World" which was held by Milan Culibrk.

During the fall semester of 2019 participants will attend lectures within modules Politics I and Economic and Social politics, with the goal of improving their skills and knowledge regarding ongoing topics in the world, through interactive lectures. XI generation of education program PolitiKAS, in academic 2019/2020, has 19 participants.

The educational programme "PolitiKAS" is intended for young leaders from Serbia, representatives of political parties of the right centre and moderate right-wing and activists of civil society organizations who advocate these values in their work. The aim of this two-semester educational programme is, on the one hand, to provide participants with additional knowledge in the field of contemporary political theory and practice, that will contribute to the improvement of their political work, and on the other hand, networking of the participants to encourage their cooperation important for successful advocacy of ideas and values of their organizations.
