Multidisciplinary undergraduate studies
Multidisciplinary one-year academic program of undergraduate study is intended to selected students of universities in Serbia who want to expand their knowledge in the field of social sciences and humanities and to acquire skills that they can be used in future professional work.
The program is based on multidisciplinary modules, internship program and tutorial work.
The multidisciplinary modules aim to develop knowledge, skills and social awareness of students. Modules are focused on their content of three parts: European integration, civic culture and values and skills. Teaching in all modules is compulsory for students who enroll in the program.
Internship Program consists of two parts: practical and tutorials.
The practical work consists of activities for students related to activities in an organization where the practice is carried out a pre-defined by the organization.
The tutoring work includes activities that, based on professional interests, proposed student. Purpose of tutoring paper is to provide students with academic training in the specific field of research, and his ultimate goal is the establishment and strengthening of critical thinking of students and their position clear in a particular area of academic interest.
Its research in the tutorial work, student performed in collaboration with the tutor and his / her assistance in the organization where the student performs the practice. The result of the research project is the final work that is, if possible, printed in the collection of student works of the Belgrade Open School.
Writing an essay in the activities of the modules is one of the obligations of the Multi-disciplinary undergraduate studies students of the Department for Advanced Undergraduate Studies. The aim of writing an essay is to develop critical thinking and reasoned expression of ideas.
